City Hall Flag Raising Ceremony– Friday, June 16th at 5 PM in front of city hall (60 Pleasant St. NBPT)- the city is partnering this year with the North Shore Juneteenth Association. The program will include a speaker, a poet, the singing of the Black National Anthem, music and more!
Tune in to WJOP 96.3 FM Newburyport– Saturday, June 17th- Sunday June 18th; 6 AM – 6 AM- a marathon of Black musical works, composers, songs, poems and more.
COREY HARRIS concert- Corey Harris is an internationally acclaimed bluesman, guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and band leader. Come see his performance Saturday, June 17th, Belleville Meetinghouse (300 High St. NBPT) hosted by the Belleville Roots Music Series
The Rope Burners, Ice Cream and Swimming– Monday, June 19th from 1- 5 PM, free and open to the public YWCA Greater Newburyport (13 Market St. NBPT)
1- 2 PM Make your own ice cream sundaes
2-3 PM The Rope Burners- a competitive Double Dutch team from Roxbury, led by coach and program founder Angela Francis will perform
3-5 PM Open Swim
When Houston Had the Blues – Monday, June 19th at 7 PM at the Screening Room (82 State St. NBPT)- Join for a pre-release, one time screening of the film followed by a discussion with director Alan Swyer.

Juneteenth and Fathers Day – June 18, 12:00 – 5:00 PM, Muldoon Park, 5 Billerica St., Lowell. Come celebrate Jubilee Day (aka Juneteenth) and Fathers Day with us! This event is outdoors (rain or shine), FREE of charge, and open to all.
Juneteenth Emancipation Observance – June 19, 12:00 – 4:00 PM, National Center of Afro-American Artists, 300 Walnut Avenue, Boston, MA 02119. Grounds open at 2:15 PM. Formal program begins at 4:00 PM.
